Halloween 2012

For Halloween this year, James and I dressed up as Prince Charming and Snow White from our favorite TV show, Once Upon a Time. Here's a clip if you've never watched it, because you should. It's pretty much the best TV show ever. Ever.



I. LOVE. IT. It rocks. But here are our awesome costumes:

 Then we went to Walmart with Carl and Jen and attacked the demonic Furbies sent by the evil queen Regina to take over our world...or something like that. :)

Carl and Jen were Where's Waldo? It was also awesome. :)

Countdowns Are Fun

don't you think?? I'm counting down to LOTS of things at the moment...but a big one is....

76 DAYS UNTIL CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!

I am SO SUPER EXCITED I CAN"T EVEN DESCRIBE IT TO YOU!! I cannot WAIT to see her in concert. Carrie is probably my favorite music artist ever. I just love her songs and I can't wait to hear them in person! From floor seats even!!

So, I know everyone is just DYING to see what our new apartment looks like. ;) Just kidding, you probably don't care, but you get to see pictures anyway! I love this little place....It fits us much better than our apartment in PG did. Sorry for the picture-heavy post. :)

Our room. I am working on a big print from our wedding to go above the bed. That door you see is our closet.

My Dear Friend Lisa. Frank, that is.

Today, at Walmart, (which, by the way, is a terrible start to a story), I grabbed a binder to hold all my random recipes. I grabbed this binder:

Or something like it anyway. Mine's pink. But it's sparkly, and that's really all that matters in this world. Except, I was very, very, disappointed. Want to know why?? Because they did not sell binders with things like this on them:

Oh, Lisa Frank! I miss  you! I had a LF Trapper Keeper, folders, pencils, erasers, stickers, a diary, and probably more. It was the one trend that my mom indulged me on. :) And I kind of wanted a Lisa Frank binder for my recipes! Even though I'm almost 23 and all grown up now. Supposedly. I still wanted Lisa Frank in my life. I mean, who couldn't use a bit of this colorful, animally goodness?

Okay, back to "Teen Talk." haha

So, I am babysitting my little sister and her friends this morning...or at least, being a responsible adult around a bunch of teenagers. And I am listening to their conversations coming from upstairs.

Seriously the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

Did I talk like that when I was a teenager? Did my friends? Or is it a new modern thing?

They are so funny!! It's all, "so and so is SO hot." and "omg did you hear that so and so broke up with her boyfriend??? They were, like, so perfect together."

etcetera.

I can't even count the number of "omg"s and "like"s that I am hearing right now. And I don't say this to make fun of them, but it's so funny to me. I'm sure that's exactly how I sounded at 15. Because Michala and I are very similar. But it's just funny.

Also, how is this girl:

15 now??? How did that happen? She's supposed to be my baby sister....not almost driving sister.
